On September 8, 2021, the Associated Press reports that Minnesota GOP donor Anton “Tony” Lazzaro, age 30, is being sued by the family of a minor who alleges Lazzaro trafficked her and used her for sex acts.
According to CBS 3 Duluth, a Proctor Middle School teacher has been charged with sexually abusing a former student. CBS 3 reports that on August 17, 2021, Duluth Police arrested 51-year-old Todd Robert Clark of Duluth. Clark has been charged with criminal sexual assault after another teacher learned of the abuse.
The FBI arrested Anton “Tony” Lazzaro on charges of conspiring with others to recruit and solicit minors to engage in commercial sex acts. Lazzaro is a Minneapolis Republican strategist and political donor.
On March 21, 2021, St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, announced it had concluded an investigation into sexual harassment and sexual misconduct allegations involving composer David Haas. Haas conducted an annual summer liturgical music camp at the University, called Music Ministry Alive! (MMA).
The headmaster of the Christian School Chesterton Academy of the Twin Cities resigns following a Post account of sexual abuse at the hands of Beskar by Katie Logan. Logan told the Post she was molested by Beskar two weeks after her graduation from Trinity School at Rivers Ridge in Eagan, Minnesota in 2011, when she was 17 years old.
