CASE ALERT: Ground Turkey Linked to Salmonella Outbreak

Our team of attorneys is currently investigating claims that ground turkey produced and distributed by Plainville Brands, LLC of Pennsylvania were the potential source of a Salmonella outbreak.

What We Know About the Ground Turkey Outbreak

According to the CDC, there are 28 reported illnesses from 12 states related to this outbreak in the United States, and 2 people have been hospitalized. They were produced between December 18-29, 2020, and were distributed nationwide. These products are no longer available in stores, but may still be stored in consumers’ freezers. The USDA issued a food safety alert on April 10, 2021.

These lawsuits are not part of a class action or multi-district litigation (MDL). Each case is unique and remains separate from other cases. The statute of limitations to sue may be only one or two years after the purchase or consumption of the recalled turkey, so we urge victims to seek legal counsel immediately. We are demanding that the food production companies reimburse our clients for their doctor’s bills, lost earnings, and pain and suffering.
